GRAPHICS {#12 Mountain Goat} Information
This Mountain Goat was photographed in northern Montana. Frequently we are asked how we got the back ground to go black. While climbing early one morning we noticed this goat standing upon the edge of a very shear cliff. Below him was a valley and behind him was a mountain. Both were in shadow as the sun had not risen above the mountain as yet. To capture this effect on film the goat was slightly underexposed to enhance the detail in his fur. This also caused the background to go black and was the effect I was looking for.
